Sr. Customer Service Representative - Manufacturing Environment

Johnson Service Group (JSG) is a nationally recognized professional staffing and recruiting firm, and we're currently seeking a temporary Customer Support Specialist. This is a 6 month+ opportunity, with a great aerospace/defense firm in Santa Clarita, CA.
Responsibilities:
- Will support the process of providing products and services to meet quality standards and customer expectations.
- Responsible for account administration and interfacing with customers.
- Support Account Managers, and considerable Contract Administrative and CSR interface.
- Will perform customer order administration for new product sales, repairs and warranty sales, and technical/engineering support and services.
- Process/maintain customer purchase orders.
- Provide customer pricing requests.
- Interface with various departments order status, delivery updates, warranty, quality, etc.
- Prepare and submit customer quotations per established price list/catalog.
- Support account receivables management (collection process, validate PO to sales order, collections, etc.).
- Respond to internal/external customer questions.
- Compile/generate various customer/sales reports.
- Contract review of customer purchase orders.
- Will utilize an electronic data interchange (EDI) system.
Qualifications:
- 2-3+ years of work experience in a customer-interface role, including a solid business process understanding.
- High school diploma, and a higher national or equivalent diploma is a plus.
- Proficient MS Word and Excel skills, and ERP experience is a plus.
