Job description

Manufacturing Customer Service Representative Position Overview
As a Customer Service Representative, you will be responsible for providing a high level of enthusiastic, detail-oriented customer service to customers and internal departments across the Thunderbird portfolio.
Manufacturing Customer Service Representative Essential Functions
  • Reviews customer orders for feasibility and accuracy.
  • Processes customer orders and issues work orders to manufacturing.
  • Controls materials and parts inventory to assure items are on hand as needed by manufacturing.
  • Responds to customer requests for information regarding order status.
  • Prepares Invoices for outgoing shipments.
  • Notifies customers of shipments if required by contract.
  • Handles majority of communication between Customers, Cost Estimating and Manufacturing.
  • Backs up Receptionist as needed.
  • Backs up Shipping as needed, preparing Packing Slips and BOL's.
  • Assists with other office administrative duties as needed, to include but not limited to mail, scanning and filing.
  • Performs other duties that may be assigned.
Manufacturing Customer Service Representative Required Experience
  • Ability to draft reports and correspondence.
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from customers and subcontractors.
  • Ability to use computer software such as word processing and spreadsheets.
  • Attention to detail and time management skills are essential.
Manufacturing Customer Service Representative Physical Demands and Work Environment
  • This position requires you to be onsite daily.
  • This position is primarily in an office environment.
  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk working on a computer.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite. +
