Service Technician

Reel Power is hiring a Service Technician in Oklahoma City, OK.

Service Technician- (Electrical, PLC/HMI, Hydraulic, Pneumatic & Mechanical) Tech Levels

• 3 or more years’ experience in maintenance, fabrication, equipment manufacturing and equipment repair.
• Basic Electrical motor controls experience.
• Ability to troubleshoot (Hydraulic, Electrical and Mechanical) issues.
• Excellent mechanical skills required.
• Estimated 60-75% travel time per year.
• Must provide own tools for infield work.
• Must have drivers License and have or be able to obtain a U.S. Passport.

Service Technician Job Purpose: Serves customers by troubleshooting issues, providing solutions and parts and installing, servicing systems in the field, and providing products and support.

Service Technician Job Duties:

• Serves existing accounts by analyzing work orders; planning daily travel schedule; investigating complaints; conducting tests; resolving problems.
• Establishes service by studying system requirements; ordering and gathering components and parts; completing installation; performing acceptance tests.
• Maintains rapport with customers by examining complaints; identifying solutions; suggesting improved methods and techniques; recommending system improvements.
• Keeps personal equipment operating by following operating instructions; troubleshooting breakdowns; maintaining supplies; performing preventive maintenance; calling for repairs.
• Documents service and installation actions by completing forms, reports, logs, and records.
• Maintains customer confidence by keeping service information confidential.
• Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications.
• Accomplishes operations and organization mission by completing related results as needed; such as taking service calls, look up parts, and entering parts and service sales orders, and refurbish equipment as needed and requested.
