Vice President, Account Executive, USG Intelligence

Position Overview:

Parsons is seeking a dynamic Account Executive to join our Defense and Intelligence (D&I) team. We are looking for an Account Executive to be the leading force in growing client relationships and business in our USG Intelligence (Langley) market. As the Account Executive you will develop and lead our account and business strategies designed to expand Parsons' presence in key Intelligence organizations. The successful candidate will provide strategic account direction, establish, and maintain client relationships in support of new and existing sales, and identify opportunities that position Parsons to expand its presence in the Intelligence Community with a specific focus on providing solutions that support the development of foreign intelligence while enabling Parsons to meet its business plan growth goals. You will engage in senior level discussions both internal to the company, across industry, and within the customer space.

Requirements:

  • 15+ years diversified experience in Business Development and/or Customer Account leadership focused on National Level Intelligence (e.g. collections, operations, digital innovation, and science & technology), or equivalent experience as a Government civilian supporting Intelligence organizations
  • Understand the interplay between National Level Intelligence organizations, relationships and buying channels especially as it relates to HUMINT, RF exploitation, Cyber, and SIGINT Operations. Have experience with mission center operations / requirements and how it connects to legacy directorates (e.g. operations, analysis, S&T)
  • Established industry and government relationships and understanding of the intelligence (Langley) competitive landscape in at least 2 of the following:
    • Operations: collection, information operations, tradecraft development, counter-intelligence, and all-source analysis
    • Platforms: strategic and/or tactical collection and processing capabilities to include analytics (e.g. data science, artificial intelligence / machine learning) across multiple domains (e.g. cyber, air, ground)
    • Science & Technology: Applying the evolving technologies (e.g. 5G, quantum, etc.) to address burgeoning mission challenges in a proactive / quick reaction capability (QRC) framework
    • Digital Innovation: offensive and /or defensive - in support of IC activities and objectives
    • Systems Engineering & Integration


  • Relationship builder who creates strategic alliances with organization leaders to align Parson's capabilities, experience, investments, and resources.
  • Proven track record to build and successfully execute adjacent and new market entry strategies that have led to large awards (i.e., $100M or greater)
  • Capable of developing comprehensive client account strategies to produce winning results
  • Understanding of current market trends and differentiated solutions in this space.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization, including executive and C-level
  • Must be willing and able to travel, as required, 10-20%.
  • TS clearance with eligibility for Langley customer requirements

  • Ability to act as a Parsons ambassador to support participation in applicable conferences, exhibits and industry engagements to promote Parsons' capabilities.
