Opportunity: The Mom Project is helping to source candidates for the above client who is looking for a Program Manager (Telecom)
Commitment Level:  40 hours per week, on-site, contract through December 2020

We are seeking a Program Manager on a contract basis to help support their business needs.

What You’ll Do:
• Responsible for overseeing programs - sets of large, time-consuming projects which require detailed analysis and care - within a company, as well as prioritizing projects and delegating responsibilities to members of the project team
• Interview and hire the best candidates for each project
• Work with several clients and maintain constant communication
• Meet with clients regularly and provide project reports and updates to ensure that everything is running smoothly
• Meet regularly with the project team to discuss solutions and may also provide assignments for each team member to keep everyone focused on the overall project
• Oversee direction, training, mentoring, and management of staff
• Track and report on team progress and determine key milestones
• Identify and capitalize on opportunities for growth and to enhance the organization's competitive position
• Coordinate with other departments or members in the organization to achieve specified goals
• Build rapport and maintain strong relationships with customers

Must Haves:
● 5+ years of experience in program management, consultancy or roles with a very high cross-functional component
● Intermediate to advanced analytical and quantitative skills; ability to use hard data and metrics to back up assumptions, recommendations, and drive actions
● Excellent leadership and communication (fluency in English) skills, including experience in building presentations and presenting to technical and business audiences including C-level executives
● Familiarity with telecom ecosystem
● Experience managing complex and technically oriented projects across a variety of stakeholders
● Experience building and executing programs end to end
● Highly knowledgeable of information technology (IT) and business practices for success, and creativity, adaptability, and problem-solving skills
● Work experience in APAC (e.g., Indonesia, India, Pakistan) a plus

Education: Bachelor’s degree required

Hours & Location:
M-F, 40 hours/week. This position is located onsite at our Customer’s Menlo Park, CA location.
