EXECUTIVE CHEF : Premier Catering Facility in Central New Jersey (Full-Time)New Jersey - Seeking experienced Executive Chef to oversee all food preparation for an established banquet facility.
Executive Chef Job Description:
Coordinate, direct, and supervise the production, plating, and presentation of all food served at all banquet events in a safe and cost-effective manner while exceeding client expectations and attracting future business.
Create and Recommend menu changes.
Analyze banquet orders, plan and coordinate functions with the catering staff to ensure events meet/exceed client expectations.
Order all necessary food and supplies for events and maintain kitchen inventory.
Supervise all banquet kitchen employees
Monitor and control the sanitation of the kitchen including all supplies and equipment
Monitor and enforce healthy, safe work environment which meets/exceeds all federal, state, and company standards and regulations.
Executive Chef Qualifications & Job Requirements:
- Previous executive chef experience in a high volume facility is A MUST
- Managerial Experience running a high volume kitchen is A MUST
- Degree in Food Service/Hospitality is a plus
- Great attention to detail and customer service
- Team player with the ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment
- Passion for great cooking and upholding the highest standards of food service
- Must be available nights and weekends
