Job description

Onsite It Support Technician

We are seeking an Onsite IT Support Technician to provide hands-on, Tier 1 support within a fast-paced studio and production environment. This role will be the front line for end-user support, working directly with internal teams and production staff to troubleshoot issues, support events, and ensure a seamless technology experience across the studio.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide Tier 1 technical support for onsite users, including triage and escalation as needed
  • Deliver support for events, corporate meetings, and internal projects
  • Manage onboarding and offboarding logistics for internal staff and third-party production teams
  • Troubleshoot hardware and software issues across Windows, macOS, ChromeOS, iOS, and Android devices
  • Support collaboration tools including Zoom, Google Workspace, and Google Meet
  • Provision and deploy laptops, workstations, monitors, and peripherals
  • Perform upgrades, replacements, and repairs for damaged or non-functioning equipment
  • Provide A/V and video conferencing troubleshooting and support
  • Maintain inventory of all IT assets including computers, peripherals, and consumables such as printer toner
  • Manage network printers and assist with basic network troubleshooting
  • Support telecom administration including VoIP systems
  • Maintain storage rooms, ensure accurate inventory counts, and keep spaces organized
  • Perform IDF sweeps and maintain cleanliness of network areas
  • Assist with basic low voltage cabling including Cat6 and fiber
  • Coordinate equipment deliveries, pickups, and returns with vendors and internal teams
  • Collaborate with Studio Management Services, Studio Logistics, and other partner teams
  • Respond to support requests and escalations via Slack and ticketing systems in a timely manner
  • Create and maintain clear, organized documentation
Qualifications
  • Experience providing face-to-face end-user IT support in a professional environment
  • Working knowledge of Windows and macOS operating systems, as well as mobile platforms
  • Familiarity with A/V systems and video conferencing technologies
  • Experience with device provisioning, deployment, and asset management
  • Understanding of basic networking concepts and troubleshooting
  • Experience with ticketing systems and inventory management tools
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, high-demand environment
  • A+ and Network+ certifications preferred
  • Film, studio, or production environment experience is a plus
