The Bowen Group has an outstanding opportunity for an Operations Manager  to join our team. This is a full-time position in Stafford, VA. • Manage work performed by a cross-functional team consisting of a graphic designer, writer, web content manager, social media manager and other key staff
• Leverage the company’s project management system to coordinate the execution of all client communication strategies and tactics using a cross-functional team approach
• Manage client expectations and project prioritization
• Coordinate and facilitate client and internal team meetings in person and via teleconference
• Streamline flow of work and communication
• Provide subject matter expertise and facilitate regular meetings
• Provide and/or support the development of required weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual client reports
• Assist with the coordination of special events and projects
• Keep current with client content, interests, and priorities

• Bachelor's degree in communications, business, marketing or related fields
• Five or more years of relevant project management experience
• Experience in strategic communications and/or web content management
• Ability to work collaboratively with various internal teams
• Experience in military quality of life programs strongly preferred
• Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office with an emphasis on Excel, Access and Outlook
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
• Exceptional communication and organizational skills
• Strong writing, editing and proofreading skills
• Ability to work independently
