Job description

Lifecycle Desktop Support Technician

This role will require that you travel once a month one day to Plattsburgh and one day to Mechanicville NY.

This role is for someone with prior Lifecycle desktop support experience (Hardware Replacement, Windows Upgrades, PC Refresh, etc.) with experience supporting WIN7 / WIN10.

Key skills: Windows 7/10, Office 2013/O365, mobile device management.

Hardware would range from desktops/laptops/workstations/thin clients.

Knowledge of ticketing platforms is key and knowledge of ITIL fundamentals is a plus.

Prior experience Installing, configuring, and troubleshooting WIN7/10 desktops & laptops.

Excellent Customer Service skills.

Can manage small project teams.

Ability to build rapport with clients.

Strong troubleshooting and critical thinking skills.

Positive and professional demeanor.

Has 3-5 years of experience.

Provide technical assistance with computer hardware and software.

Resolve issues for clients via phone, in person, or electronically.

Recommend hardware and software improvements.

Track customer issues and resolutions.

Accurately testing, identifying, repairing, resolving, and documenting end user technical issues regarding basic network/desktop/laptop support, Printers, iPhone, and LAN cable drops.

Swap-Out and troubleshoot software issues.

Reimaging computers/hard drives.

IMACD function including installation and decommission.

Backing up and restoring user data.
