Medical Assistant - SUD Treatment
Location: Concord, MA
Pay Rate: $20.00 per hour
Schedule: Full-time or Part-time | Various shifts available

Position SummaryThe Medical Assistant plays an essential role in the delivery of residential treatment services. This direct care position is primarily responsible for interacting with, supporting, and supervising clients throughout treatment while assisting with medical and administrative functions related to Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT) services.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities- Complete client observations during MAT hours and maintain therapeutic client interactions
- Obtain and document vital signs, blood sugars, urine specimens, and report significant medical concerns to leadership
- Conduct toxicology screening processes, including specimen collection, lab documentation, and communicating results to the treatment team
- Observe and document medication dispensing by pharmacy vendor technicians
- Verify admission documentation and maintain organized client records
- Monitor unit inventory and coordinate supply needs
- Assist with client medical concerns, follow-up calls, payments, and educational materials
- Encourage client engagement in treatment and support a safe, clean environment
- Complete required trainings and perform other duties as assigned
Education & Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Active Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) certification through the American Association of Medical Assistants may be accepted in lieu of high school diploma/GED
- Experience in a drug and alcohol, behavioral health, or residential treatment setting preferred
- Previous Medical Assistant experience through employment or internship preferred
Certifications:
- Current CPR, AED, and First Aid certifications preferred
