We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team in Laredo, TX. The ideal candidate will assist the Nurse Practitioner (NP) with clinical and administrative tasks to ensure smooth and efficient patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the Nurse Practitioner with setting up infusions and preparing treatment areas.
  • Perform inventory management, including tracking supplies and medications.
  • Order medications and medical supplies as needed to maintain adequate stock levels.
  • Screen patients upon arrival, including gathering medical history and reason for visit.
  • Take and record vital signs such as blood pressure, temperature, pulse, and respiration.
  • Administer injections and other basic clinical procedures under supervision.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with healthcare regulations.
  • Support the clinical team with other duties as assigned to enhance patient care quality.
Qualifications
