We're growing and looking for an experienced Employee Benefits Consultant to step into an existing book of business, build client relationships, and help drive continued growth.

What You'll Do Manage and retain an existing portfolio of benefits clients Lead renewals and ongoing client strategy Design customized benefit solutions (medical, dental, vision, life, disability) Guide clients through compliance, plan design, and cost management Grow your own book through referrals and networking Partner with internal teams to support client success What We're Looking For Active Ohio Life & Health license (required) Proven experience in group health / employee benefits consulting Strong relationship-building and client advisory skills Ability to navigate a complex and evolving benefits landscape A growth mindset-you want to build, not just maintain Why You'll Love Working Here A growing firm that has doubled in size over the past 5 years Strong employee retention and a collaborative, relationship-driven team Internal leads and referral opportunities, including a strategic partnership with GBQ Partners Dedicated sales support to help drive business development Opportunities for long-term growth and leadership WORK ARRANGEMENT Hybrid role based in the Columbus, OH area: 2-3 days per week in-office for collaboration and sales meetings COMPENSATION Base salary: $70,000 - 85,000 (depending on experience) Plus commission and additional performance-based incentives BENEFITS 401(k) with Company Match Medical, Dental, Vision, Life and Disability Benefits Flexible hours and working environment Paid Holidays and PTO We conduct background checks as part of our pre-employment screening process and follow all EEOC and FCRA regulations regarding the use of criminal records in the hiring process.
