Job Summary
We are a home Design/ Build/Renovation company seeking a Project Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will assist the company in gathering information and managing estimates/projects sold by salesperson. Meet customers for selections for their project at local vendors. Set up help with project job folder, help set up & manage material deliveries. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, analytical, results & detail-oriented, positive attitude, with can do attitude and has a proven track record of working in an office environment. Good with computers, CRM programs, Microsoft office, word, excel, or similar skill sets.
Responsibilities
- Help with needed documentation.
- Collect necessary documentation such as plans, drawings, and project specifications if need
- Help with gathering bids or quotes.
- Update customers of scheduled work or changes to scheduled work.
- Collect and submit estimates to production manager & CEO for project review
- Acquire building permit for remodeling projects through city portals
- Keep project under sold budget and discuss discrepancies if they arise.
- Create and organize project folder for signed job then review with Production Manager and set up project schedule.
Qualifications
- Experience with some residential building, remodeling, construction fields is preferred
- Ability to learn building costs and knowledge of estimation
- Strong communication skills for reaching out to vendors and subcontractors, ect
- Strong mathematical, analytical and organization skills
- Skilled in various software (Roofr, Monday CRM, Company Cam, Hover, Eagle view, etc) & (Microsoft word, excel, ect)
- Excellent research, writing, negotiation and review/presentation skills
