EXECUTIVE PASTRY CHEF (Multiple Restaurants, Harvest Restaurant Group)

Harvest Restaurants is seeking a motivated, enthusiastic, passionate Pastry Chef to oversee and execute desserts for a variety of our locations, including high end steakhouses, Italian, and New American concepts. The person for this role is detail-oriented, proactive, plays well with others, and is passionate about pastry and hospitality.

We are looking for leaders who are upbeat, energetic and dedicated to guest satisfaction to join our team! A tasting and trail will be necessary for this position so that we can assess your skillset throughout the interviewing process.

Requirements

Prepare a wide variety of goods for multiple locations such as cakes, cookies, pies, bread etc. following traditional and modern recipes

Create new and exciting desserts to renew our menus and engage the interest of customers-autonomy within each concept.

Decorate pastries using different icings, toppings etc. to ensure the presentation will be beautiful and exciting

Monitor stocks for baking ingredients such as flour, sugar etc. and make appropriate orders within budget

Check quality of material and condition of equipment and devices used for cooking

Guide and motivate line cooks when plating desserts

Identify staffing needs and help recruit and train personnel

Maintain a lean and orderly cooking station and adhere to health and safety standards
