This role is ideal for sales professionals who are driven by results and customer satisfaction. You'll identify new opportunities, consult with customers to understand their needs, and deliver customized solutions that address wildlife issues while building long-term relationships.

Responsibilities
As an Outside Sales Representative at Critter Control, you drive business growth by prospecting, developing relationships, and delivering solutions to residential and commercial customers. You assess customer needs, recommend humane and effective wildlife services, and partner with internal teams to ensure a high-quality customer experience from initial consultation through service completion.
Responsibilities:
- Act as a consultative problem solver-diagnosing wildlife and pest issues and confidently recommend the right solution.
- Capitalize on company-provided leads while consistently building your own pipeline to exceed sales targets.
- Aggressively grow new business in your territory by self-generating opportunities through networking, referrals, and strategic partnerships.
- Build and leverage relationships with homeowners, property managers, realtors, contractors and sister brands to drive recurring and referral-based sales.
- Partner with operations and field teams to ensure a safe and smooth customer experience.
What does a day in the life look like?
- Spend most of your day in your territory responding to and prospecting new leads
- Conduct interior and exterior property inspections (roofs, attics, crawlspaces, confined spaces).
- Create, present, and close detailed proposals for wildlife removal and prevention services using existing proposal templates
- Build on existing leads by self-generating new opportunities. If a home or business has a pest problem, chances are the neighbor does too!
- Follow up relentlessly to close deals, collect payments, and re-engage past prospects and customers.

What do you need to be successful?
- High school diploma or equivalent; college degree is a plus
- Valid driver's license
- Must be available to travel up to 10%
- Must be available to travel to Atlanta within 30 days of start date
- A hunter mindset and proven experience in outside sales, preferably in a related field (pest control, roofing, construction, route-based businesses)
- Ability to work in the field independently and efficiently manage your own schedule
- Proficiency in using several types of software and applications

We go where the wildlife goes! Candidates must be physically capable of safely performing the following job duties with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Must be able to drive to various locations, often covering large territories
- Frequent walking, standing, and moving through diverse types of terrain, including uneven ground, stairs, roofs, and sometimes slippery or muddy areas
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions (extreme heat, extreme cold, rain, snow, etc.)
- Must have the ability to climb stairs and ladders safely
- Must be able to crouch, kneel, bend, and stretch frequently
