Position Overview
We're seeking an Exchange Operations Specialist to join our team and drive the future of digital asset trading. You'll be at the forefront of Bullish operations, ensuring the seamless and secure functioning of our NYSE-listed exchange. Responsibilities:
* Exchange and Client Excellence: You will fine-tune the platform to make sure trading is fast and reliable, providing high-quality support for our institutional clients. By keeping the trading environment top-notch, you establish the trust from clients and grow our business.
* Trading Algorithm & Execution Support: Engineering low-latency "algorithmic trading paths", scaling infrastructure to handle millions of transactions during market spikes, ensuring the trading algorithm can recover rapidly, and implementing security measures to detect unusual trade bursts.
* Be the Bridge Between Trading and Tech: Serve as a critical link between our sales teams, institutional clients, and technology organization. You will collaborate with Product and Engineering to support new products and features, ensuring they are seamlessly integrated into the live trading environment.
* Drive Strategic Optimization: This isn't just about keeping the lights on. We want you to constantly hunt for opportunities to improve and automate. You will lead projects to enhance client workflows and operational processes, directly contributing to platform efficiency, risk reduction, and our ability to scale.
* Shape Business Strategy with Data: Build and maintain powerful dashboards and reports that correlate deep technical metrics with key business KPIs. Your insights will empower our executive team to make data-driven strategic decisions.
* Uphold Market Integrity: Work in close partnership with our Finance, Risk, Legal, and Compliance teams to navigate the complex regulatory landscape of digital assets, ensuring a robust governance structure is maintained across all exchange activities.
Experience & Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Technology or a related field.
* 5+ years of relevant experience with 2+ years in a trading operations, or trade support management role within digital assets, FinTech, or electronic trading.
* You have a strong background and deep understanding of trading, market structure, and the full order lifecycle.
* Experience in FX, equities, or derivatives is a huge plus.
* You are technically proficient and have hands-on experience managing and troubleshooting complex electronic trading systems running in the cloud. You are comfortable diving into system logs, diagnosing issues, and working with engineers to resolve them
* Proficiency and understanding of the FIX protocol, APIs, and market data infrastructure is strongly preferred.
* Familiarity with risk management, digital asset custody solutions, KYC/AML and cyber-security best practices.
* Demonstrates strong critical thinking and a data-driven approach with an ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Bullish US LLC & CoinDesk Inc. are committed to offering competitive compensation and benefits. The anticipated base salary for this position is $140,000 - $175,000 + discretionary annual target bonus + performance incentives/benefits. Offered salary will be reflective of job related knowledge, skills and commensurate experience.
