The pastry team's main responsibility is to develop our pastry program that supports our three restaurant concepts in Cincinnati and Domo, our meal delivery service. We focus on teaching, learning, and push to obsess over details.

The pastry team's main responsibility is to develop our pastry program that supports our three restaurant concepts in Cincinnati and Domo, our meal delivery service. We focus on teaching, learning, and push to obsess over details.
Pastry Chef Responsibilities:
- Leading a team of approximately four hourly pastry cooks in a designated pastry kitchen.
- Coaching your team and effectively manage workload and working relationships
- Recruiting, hiring, and training pastry cooks for open roles
- Producing pastries and desserts during daytime shifts, plating desserts during service
- Skillfully apply baking techniques, demonstrate a working knowledge of kitchen equipment & assist staff as needed
- Effectively execute recipes, adhere to yield guides and properly rotate, store, label, & date all products
- Collaborating with culinary and leadership teams on pastry offerings and menus
Qualifications:
- 2 years pastry chef experience in full-service and from-scratch kitchens
- Exhibits the spirit of hospitality
- Demonstrate excellent attention to detail
- Strong communication skills to delegate tasks to the team
- Work well in a team environment
- Displays a sense of urgency
