Certified Veterinary Technician, Emergency
Location: Waukesha, WI
Schedule: Full-Time | 1st shift |4 Nine Hour Shifts Per Week | includes every other weekend and some holidays | No on-call requirement
Compensation: $24/hr and up, Dependent On Experience

In your day-to-day, you will:
  • Support the health and wellbeing of pets by performing proficient patient triage, speedy trauma assessments, extensive diagnostics, emergency patient stabilization, and in-depth patient care
  • Utilize your technical skill sets by executing tasks such as restraint, phlebotomy, catheter placement, general nursing care, drug calculations from fluid rates to CRIs, in addition to monitoring general anesthesia and more!
  • Work closely with veterinarians, veterinary technicians and support teams
  • Contribute to a positive, team-focused hospital culture

What You Bring:
  • CVT licensure is required OR eligible to obtain license within 9 months
  • At least 1 year of technician experience (ER experience a plus, not required)
  • Comfortable with restraint, phlebotomy, catheter placement, and nursing care
  • A collaborative mindset and commitment to exceptional patient care
