What You'll Do -
As an Internal Medicine Veterinary Technician, you'll play an essential role in delivering advanced patient care by:
  • Assisting our Internal Medicine specialists during appointments and medical workups
  • Managing multiple complex medical cases throughout the day
  • Placing advanced IV catheters and performing venipuncture
  • Performing accurate drug calculations and medication administration
  • Running in-house laboratory diagnostics and preparing samples for reference laboratories
  • Assisting with advanced diagnostics including:
    • Endoscopy
    • Ultrasound
    • Digital radiology
    • Blood pressure monitoring
    • Glucose monitoring
  • Monitoring anesthesia and assisting with diagnostic procedures
  • Providing high-quality nursing care for hospitalized patients
  • Maintaining accurate, legally compliant medical records
  • Communicating with clients regarding treatment plans, financial estimates, test results, and discharge instructions
  • Participating in daily nursing rounds and collaborative case discussions

Qualifications -
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in a Veterinary Internal Medicine specialty department OR Licensed/Certified Veterinary Technician (LVT/CVT/RVT)
  • Strong technical and nursing skills
  • Knowledge of veterinary pharmacology and patient care
  • Comfortable learning new technology and medical software
  • Ability to read and communicate effectively in English; additional language skills are a plus
