Job description

Our client is seeking a Small Animal Associate Veterinarian to join a respected, small animal practice in Columbus, Ohio. This role is ideal for a veterinarian who values high-quality medicine, strong clinical standards, and a collaborative environment where patient care and client trust are central to every appointment.
The position offers the opportunity to manage a varied companion animal caseload while working with established medical protocols, supportive paraprofessional staff, and access to continuing education resources. In this position, your responsibilities will include:
  • Building trusted relationships with clients while supporting pets through all life stages
  • Leading diagnostic, treatment, wellness, and follow-up care for small animal patients
  • Communicating findings and care plans clearly so clients can make informed decisions
  • Collaborating with veterinary technicians and support staff to maintain smooth patient flow
  • Contributing to a positive clinical culture built around teamwork and high standards of care
Qualifications Needed:
  • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree or equivalent qualification
  • Valid Ohio veterinary license in good standing
  • Commitment to practicing high-quality small animal medicine
  • Excellent communication skills with a friendly and professional approach
  • Collaborative mindset with dedication to patient care and team support
Package:
  • Base salary from $120,000 to $135,000, based on experience
