Job Description:

Provides expert consultation to leadership on learning and organizational development strategies to meet business needs. Designs and delivers leadership development programs and organizational strategies. Develops and implements training tools and materials to enhance skills, performance, productivity, and quality of work. Collaborates with leaders to identify and address organizational development needs. Manages and expands leadership development programs, including internships and onboarding processes. Supports the implementation of customized leadership development and organizational development interventions. Administers and acts as a subject matter expert for various learning platforms. Designs and manages organizational development resources and websites. Coordinates logistics for training programs, including scheduling and materials. Evaluates the effectiveness of training programs and makes improvements as needed. Demonstrates project management skills while handling multiple projects and priorities. Maintains knowledge of adult learning theories, training trends, and best practices. Other duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Ability to demonstrate exceptional interpersonal, consulting, facilitation, training/presentation and relationship building skills. [Required]
  • Ability to maintain stable performance under pressure or opposition (i.e., experiencing time pressure, conflict, or job ambiguity). [Required]
  • Ability to complete full training cycle (assess needs, plan, develop, coordinate, monitor, and evaluate). [Required]
  • Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing. [Required]
  • Ability to utilize Microsoft Office at an intermediate level (PowerPoint, Word, Excel etc.). [Required]
  • Ability to work independently and as a team member. [Required]

  • Knowledge of the fields of Organizational Development (including theories, concepts, practices, and procedures). [Required]
  • Ability to problem solve and demonstrate conflict management experience. [Required]
  • Knowledge of adult learning styles and training strategy, group process, facilitation and delivery. [Required]
  • Knowledge of instructional designing, implementation, and managing traditional and modern training methods and techniques. [Required]
  • Knowledge of learning management systems and web delivery tools. [Required]
  • Knowledge of Visio and other interactive presentation software (i.e. Prezi). [Preferred]
  • Knowledge of instructional design models and tools (i.e., ADDIE). [Preferred]
  • Project Management experience. [Preferred]

Work Experience:

  • 2+ experience in a healthcare environment [Required]
  • 2+ with learning management system (lms) experience [Preferred]
  • 3+ internal consultation and training experience working with senior managers concerning improving work groups, teams and organizations. [Preferred]
  • 4+ training design experience in a professional environment (healthcare preferred). [Required]
