Shifts & Compensation
  • Shifts Available: 3 x 12-hour or 4 x 10-hour shifts
  • Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT): $30-35/hour
  • Veterinary Technician Specialist (VTS): $35 - $45/hour

Our on-site Technician Learning & Development Specialist is here to help you advance through specialized training and continuing education opportunities. As a crucial member of our Emergency and Critical Care team, you'll work closely with our Emergency Doctors to provide outstanding patient care and exceptional customer experiences. Your daily responsibilities will include:
  • Triaging and Managing: Welcoming and assisting incoming patients and clients throughout their visit.
  • Collaborative Care: Partnering with DVMs in patient assessments, diagnostics, treatments, and procedures.
  • Lab & Imaging Work: Obtaining and processing lab samples, and utilizing imaging modalities for patient care.
  • Anesthesia Support: Executing, monitoring, and recovering sedation and anesthetic events.
  • Hospitalized Patient Care: Providing compassionate care for hospitalized patients and being comfortable with intensive care cases, including dialysis and total plasma exchange.
About You:

  • You have a solid understanding of core veterinary technician skills, including:
  • Venipuncture
  • Placing IV Catheters
  • Drug Calculations
  • Medication Administration (IV or other methods)
  • Taking Vitals
  • Gathering Medical History
Qualifications:
  • Applicants must be a Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) in good standing
  • 1+ year of experience as a Veterinary Technician.
  • Competency in procedures, surgical preparation, patient monitoring, and client education.
  • Physical ability to lift 50 pounds, kneel, bend, and restrain active animals.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
