Job Title: Professional Development Consultant
Reports To: Sr. Director, Professional Development
Position Overview
The Professional Development Consultant Focus: Plays a critical role in driving early success and long-term retention for experienced Real Estate Professionals with Coldwell Banker Realty. This role blends 1:1 coaching, small group facilitation, and strategic support and content development for local leadership to ensure agents are productive, connected, and aligned to Coldwell Banker's value proposition.
Core Responsibilities
Experienced Agent Support (70%)
  • Facilitate large or small group, 1:1, and cohort-based sessions to drive productivity and platform adoption
  • Identify key agent needs and coordinate with field leaders

Regional Liaison (25%)
  • Serve as a strategic partner to Regional Presidents and RVPs by sharing trends and insights from the field
  • Participate in leadership meetings and support local initiatives by sourcing professional development tools and resources
  • Ensure field leaders are informed and equipped with the latest learning and development updates
  • Proactive outreach and collaboration with field leadership and agent-facing engagement regionally to meet local market needs and regional nuances

Cross-Enterprise Collaboration (5%)
  • Collaborate with other CIH brand professional development teams, including both company-owned and affiliate
  • Maintain consistency of messaging, programming, and onboarding experience across brands

Qualifications
Required Experience & Attributes
  • 3+ years of experience in agent development, performance coaching, brokerage enablement, or similar roles
  • Deep understanding of the real estate lifecycle, transaction flow, and the business drivers that impact agent productivity
  • Strong facilitation, presentation, and relationship-building skills across varied audiences
  • High emotional intelligence with a demonstrated ability to coach, influence, and support experienced professionals
  • Ability to effectively navigate and align multiple stakeholders within a matrixed organization

Preferred
  • Prior experience with Coldwell Banker or CIH (Compass International Holdings) systems, resources, and marketing tools
  • Familiarity with onboarding programs or real estate agent lifecycle initiatives
  • Comfort delivering in both virtual and in-person settings

Success Measures
  • Positive facilitation experience and engagement scores
  • Increased adoption of Coldwell Banker tools and services including the Home Platform and attach rate for primary services
  • Successful positioning and adoption of three-phase marketing strategy
  • Field leader satisfaction with onboarding partnership and support
