Job description

The Customer Training Coordinator acts as the liaison between Toyota Automated Logistics and clients to establish training requirements, documentation, and training timelines for projects. Working with the Technical Training Manager, the Training Coordinator determines training needs and ensures the success of training programs through effective project management, collaboration, and ongoing program evaluation.
Job Functions:
  • Coordinate all training project activities before, during, and after training delivery.
  • Quote training costs to clients and partners and ensure projects stay on budget.
  • Develop and execute a customized training plan for each project including training objectives, timeline, risks, and roles & responsibilities.
  • Maintain the overall training schedule and collaborate with internal training resources, project managers, and vendors to schedule all virtual and onsite training sessions.
  • Manage training logistics including site admittance, safety, training locations and calendar invitations. Share detailed information to participants and trainers in advance.
  • Conduct internal and customer kick-off meetings and check-ins, maintaining the momentum of the training project and driving deadlines.
  • Analyze potential risks to the training program throughout a project's duration and work with key stakeholders to mitigate risks and adjust timelines as needed.
  • Ensure that training materials and programs are current, accurate, and effective.
  • Maintain attendance records, certification details, feedback forms, photo releases, etc.
  • Evaluate training program effectiveness, training impact and KPIs.
  • Provide feedback for continuous improvement to training resources, vendors and management.
  • Proactively conduct training needs analyses for customers and seek opportunities for additional training through support ticket data, customer feedback and onsite observation.

Travel Requirements:
  • 10% overnight travel (Travel expenses paid by Toyota Automated Logistics)

Required Qualifications and Preferred Skills:
  • Must be eligible to work in the USA long term without sponsorship.
  • Previous experience working in a Training Coordinator or Project Management role.
  • Demonstrated experience managing projects and teams.
  • Prior experience preparing quotes for customers.
  • Excellent client relations, customer service, teamwork, and analytical skills.
  • Ability to organize and manage multiple training initiatives simultaneously.
  • Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with management, vendors and other departments.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Employees must follow all information security policies, protect confidential data, complete required training, and report any suspected security incidents to support our information security controls.
