Project Manager
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead a large-scale environmental services contract supporting federal operations. This role is responsible for overall contract execution, including technical performance, staffing, compliance, and customer engagement.
Compensation & Benefits:
Estimated Starting Salary Range for Project Manager: Pay commensurate with experience.
Full time benefits include Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K, and other possible benefits as provided. Benefits are subject to change with or without notice.
Project Manager Responsibilities Include:
  • Serve as primary point of contact with Government stakeholders
  • Manage cost, schedule, and performance across all task areas
  • Oversee multidisciplinary teams including scientists, technicians, and analysts
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory and contract requirements
  • Lead risk management, reporting, and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Manage task orders and technical teams
  • Track deliverables, schedules, and performance metrics
  • Coordinate field activities and resource allocation
  • Support staffing and surge requirements
  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned

Project Manager Experience, Education, Skills, Abilities requested:
  • Bachelor's degree in environmental science, Engineering, or related field
  • 10+ years of relevant experience, including federal contract management
  • Experience managing multi-disciplinary teams (25+ personnel preferred)
  • Strong knowledge of environmental compliance (EPA, DoD, or similar)
  • PMP certification
  • Experience with ISO 9001/14001 environments
  • Must pass pre-employment qualifications of Cherokee Federal
