Job description

Manifest Solutions is currently seeking a Senior Project Manager for a position in Valparaiso, IN.
  • Accountable for all aspects of project life cycle management, including accurate budgeting and forecasting, combined with effective planning and execution for designated projects
  • Projects managed typically range from ~$10M to over $500M in total spend.
  • Performs large and or complex projects or engineering studies which includes projects supporting electric generation, electric transmission, environmental remediation, and other scopes of work of larger size or with higher complexity.
  • Proactive leadership to integrate and collaborate with both internal and external project stakeholders to ensure successful project outcomes.
  • Establishes effective scope, schedule, and cost baselines and change management to measure progress against plans and identify when corrective actions are needed
  • Safe/efficient high-quality construction work that complies with policies, practices, and standards
  • Collaboration between project managers, project specialists, and contract construction inspectors
  • Provides construction support for all internal/external customers
  • Completes construction projects which meet customer expectations and budget requirements
  • Promotes relationships with external municipalities and local authorities
  • Timely and accurate invoice payments
  • Effective team relationships throughout field and State staff functions
  • Project success is based on the ability to complete all projects in a safe, reliable manner, within 5% of the cost estimate, on time and with no significant regulatory notices, violations, or citations

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Construction, Project Management, or other related field of study or equivalent experience (total 9 years of experience)
  • 5+ years' experience managing construction related projects
  • 3+ years' experience working with pipeline construction contractors
  • 3+ years' experience working with project budgets
  • Knowledge of gas system design and operations including gas flow, construction, contracts, and emergency response.
  • Knowledge of local, state, and federal operating codes and construction codes
  • Proficiency with personal computers, construction scheduling software, Microsoft Excel, Power Point Presentations, and other computer software related to pipeline construction project management
  • Working knowledge of operations support systems, i.e. WMS, etc.
  • Driver License, Valid and in State Upon Hire Preferred
