Project Planning Manager Opportunity

JOB SUMMARY

Project Planning Managers own the coordination, execution, monitoring, and controlling of client requests for marketing fulfillment projects. Once a project is initiated, the PPM is responsible for reviewing the request and refining it to meet internal quality standards and clarify any instructions for an accurate, timely, and efficient delivery.

This role requires a unique combination of operational and customer service, as we balance client needs and demands to ensure success in accordance with SGI processes. Most crucial is the ability to work across functional areas with key stakeholders, navigating sometimes complex deliverables with a collaborative and positive outlook.

Job Management:

o Coordinate with multiple departments/SMEs to ensure success.

o Interpret client request into actionable tasks.

o Superior organization and attention to detail.

o Foundation in use of Excel for managing key data sets.

Requirements

Required Education, Skills & Experience

o Minimum BS/BA degree or a 2-year degree with relevant experience in project management.

o Ability to manage change and keep a clear perspective of end goals (big picture).

o Print, Marketing Production, and/or Pharmaceutical experience.


Preferred Skills

o Proficiency in MS Office

o Experience with ERP, Business Central, and/or Job Management Systems

o Knowledge of five phases of Project Management; PMP certification a definite plus


Other Requirements

o Consummate team player, both within the department and across the company.

o Assist with training new team members as needed.
