Job description

WORLD WIDE PROFESSIONAL SOLUTIONS is a project solutions organization committed to implementing lean constructions, collaborative contracting, and execution approaches to enable breakthroughs in performance.
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Chemical Systems Project Manager/ Superintendent to be part of our team in West Lafayette, IN, on a large-scale Advanced Manufacturing and Technology construction project.
The Semiconductor Chemical Systems Project Manager/ Superintendent is responsible for planning, coordinating, and supervising the installation, commissioning, and turnover of semiconductor chemical delivery systems. This role bridges project management and field leadership, ensuring systems are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and in strict compliance with semiconductor industry standards and client specifications.
The position typically oversees bulk and specialty chemical systems, working closely with owners, tool vendors, safety teams, general contractors and AHJ's in a live or high-purity manufacturing environment.
The successful candidate must be self-motivated, technically skilled, highly organized, communicate clearly and have a proven ability to work in a fast-paced dynamic environment. Candidates' work history must represent increased levels of responsibility on a progressive basis throughout their career.
*Local Candidates Highly Preferred. A relocation package may be available for outstanding candidates. Per-Diem is not available for this role. Qualified candidates must be authorized to work in the USA*
Responsibilities
  • Manage scope, schedule, and budget for semiconductor chemical systems projects
  • Coordinate with design teams to resolve constructability and scope issues
  • Lead project meetings with clients, general contractors, and internal teams
  • Ensure installations comply with drawings, specifications, SEMI standards, and codes
  • Monitor productivity, quality, and adherence to schedule milestones
  • Support system testing, flushing, leak checks, and commissioning activities
  • Enforce all site-specific safety requirements and company safety policies
  • Participate in job hazard analyses (JHAs), pre-task plans, and safety audits
  • Promote a strong safety culture in high-risk chemical environments
  • Ensure proper installation of high-purity chemical piping and equipment
  • Support client acceptance and final system handover
  • Act as primary point of contact for chemical systems scope
  • Communicate project status, risks, and mitigation plans clearly and proactively
  • Bulk chemical delivery systems
  • Specialty and hazardous chemical distribution
  • Acid waste neutralization and collection systems
  • Chemical storage tanks, pumps, and distribution skids
  • Interface with UPW, waste, exhaust, and tool hook-up systems

Requirements
  • Minimum 10+ years of semiconductor facility construction experience in Semiconductor, Pharmaceutical, or Gas & Oil.
  • Strong background in chemical systems, piping, or process utilities
  • Experience working in active fabs or cleanroom environments
  • Knowledge of SEMI standards, high-purity piping practices, and chemical safety
  • Proven experience with high-purity piping systems, cleanroom environments, Base Build systems and tool installation workflows.
  • Must have knowledge of the applicable codes and standards for industrial construction, with a preference for semiconductor industrial experience.
  • Demonstrated proficiency and experience with the following tools: Microsoft Office software. Experience with document control

Preferred Qualifications
  • Semiconductor fab project experience.
  • OSHA 30 or equivalent safety training.
  • Experience with BIM coordination and modular construction.

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in construction management, architecture or engineering, or related field preferred.
  • Equivalent experience in the field will be considered in lieu of formal education.
