Job description

The Pittsburgh Riverhounds SC is a professional men's soccer team competing in the USL Championship, the second tier of American soccer. The organization also includes the Pittsburgh Riveters SC, a USL W League women's team launched in 2025, and the nationally recognized Riverhounds Development Academy. All teams operate out of the AHN Montour Sports Complex and the picturesque Highmark Stadium, located in Station Square along Pittsburgh's iconic skyline. Highmark Stadium is set to expand to 15,000 in the coming years as part of a $125m renovation and expansion project. Job Summary
The Ticket Operations Intern will assist the Ticketing and Box Office team with daily operations, customer service, and game day execution. This role provides hands-on experience working within Ticketmaster and other ticketing technologies, while supporting fan engagement and live event operations.
Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with day-to-day ticket operations
  • Provide excellent customer service to fans via phone, email, and in-person interactions
  • Support box office operations on match days and special events
  • Work within Ticketmaster Archtics to process transactions, manage inventory, and fulfill orders
  • Assist with group sales fulfillment on FEVO
  • Troubleshoot ticket-related issues for fans in a professional and timely manner
  • Collaborate with sales, marketing, and operations teams to enhance the fan experience
  • Perform general administrative duties as assigned

Game Day Responsibilities
  • Staff the box office before and during all F.N.B. Stadium ticketed events
  • Assist with managing game day staff
  • Provide in-stadium customer support to ensure a seamless fan experience
  • Help manage ticket resolutions and real-time problem-solving

Desired Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
โ€ข Current undergraduate (Sports Management, Business, Marketing, or related field preferred)
โ€ข Strong communication and customer service skills
โ€ข Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities
โ€ข Comfortable working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
โ€ข Basic computer proficiency; experience with Ticketmaster or similar ticketing platforms is strongly preferred
โ€ข Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including data entry, basic formulas, and spreadsheet organization
