The Coordinator of Gameday Operations plays an integral role within the Department of Athletics by overseeing game operations for all home athletic events while providing operational and administrative support to the Athletic Director.
Duties and Responsibilities
  • Serve as the primary gameday administrator for all Point University home athletic events
  • Coordinate and oversee all aspects of game management to ensure events are conducted in accordance with conference and institutional policies
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for visiting teams, game officials, event staff, and spectators during home competitions
  • Manage ticket operations for all home athletic events, including staffing and oversight of ticket sales
  • Coordinate concession operations, including preparation, inventory management, stocking, and event-day service
  • Recruit, train, schedule, and supervise student workers assigned to gameday operations
  • Oversee the gameday operations graduate assistant role
  • Manage the setup, maintenance, and operational readiness of athletic facilities for home competitions
  • Maintain scheduling, reservations, and routine maintenance records for the department's athletic vehicle fleet
  • Assist the Athletic Director with departmental projects, special events, and administrative initiatives
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support the mission and goals of the Department of Athletics

Requirements
  • Demonstrated knowledge of intercollegiate athletics and conference rules and regulations

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment while managing multiple priorities

  • Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by the athletic competition schedule

Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
  • Experience supervising student employees or event staff.
