Point University is a private liberal arts institution that educates our students within a Christian worldview so they are equipped to take their faith into the marketplace and all of life while achieving their professional goals. We are training the next generation of Christian leaders to take the cross to more job sites, churches, industries, and nations than ever before.
The Coordinator of Gameday Operations plays an integral role within the Department of Athletics by overseeing game operations for all home athletic events while providing operational and administrative support to the Athletic Director.
Duties and Responsibilities
  • Serve as the primary gameday administrator for all Point University home athletic events
  • Coordinate and oversee all aspects of game management to ensure events are conducted in accordance with conference and institutional policies
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for visiting teams, game officials, event staff, and spectators during home competitions
  • Manage ticket operations for all home athletic events, including staffing and oversight of ticket sales
  • Coordinate concession operations, including preparation, inventory management, stocking, and event-day service
  • Recruit, train, schedule, and supervise student workers assigned to gameday operations
  • Oversee the gameday operations graduate assistant role
  • Manage the setup, maintenance, and operational readiness of athletic facilities for home competitions
  • Maintain scheduling, reservations, and routine maintenance records for the department's athletic vehicle fleet
  • Assist the Athletic Director with departmental projects, special events, and administrative initiatives
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support the mission and goals of the Department of Athletics
