Position Summary: 

Knight Aerospace is seeking a motivated and organized Temporary Recruiter to join our Human Resources team on a 3-month contract, with the possibility of extension. This role will support high-volume recruiting efforts, primarily for warehouse, manufacturing, and production positions, in a fast-paced environment.


Requirements

Duties and Responsibilities

  1. Manage multiple open requisitions across aerospace manufacturing, production, technical, and professional positions.
  2. Source and identify qualified candidates through Paylocity, job boards, referrals, and other recruiting channels.
  3. Review applications and conduct initial phone screenings based on position requirements.
  4. Coordinate and schedule interviews between candidates and hiring managers.
  5. Participate in candidate interviews as needed and document relevant recruiting information and next steps.
  6. Follow up hiring managers after interviews to obtain feedback and determine next steps.
  7. Maintain and regularly update recruiting trackers with candidate status, interview activity, pending actions, and Hiring progress.
  8. Provide timely recruiting updates to the HR team and hiring managers regarding open positions, candidate pipelines, interviews, and pending actions.
  9. Maintain accurate and up-to-date candidate records, statuses, and recruiting activity in Paylocity Recruiting.
  10. Maintain timely and professional communication with candidates throughout the recruitment process.
  11. Assign and track required pre-employment assessments and follow up on completion.
  12. Coordinate and track background checks and drug testing for selected candidates.
  13. Prepare and coordinate offer letters and required pre-employment documentation.
  14. Follow up with selected candidates to ensure all pre-employment requirements are completed prior to their start date.
  15. Support recruiting events, hiring initiatives, and other HR-related projects as assigned.

  2. Demonstrate strong organization, attention to detail, and consistent follow-through.
  3. Communicate clearly and professionally with candidates, hiring managers, and the HR team.

  5. Maintain accurate and timely recruiting records and status updates.
  6. Be responsive and proactive in following up on pending recruiting actions.
  7. Work collaboratively with the HR team and hire managers to support staffing needs.
  8. Represent Knight Aerospace professionally and support a positive candidate experience

Qualifications

  1. Minimum of 2 years of recruiting or talent acquisition experience, preferably supporting manufacturing, warehouse, or production positions.
  2. Hands-on experience with Paylocity Recruiting or similar Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS); Paylocity experience strongly preferred.
  3. Experience initiating, coordinating, tracking background checks and pre-employment drug testing.
  4. Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, including calendar management and interview scheduling.
  5. Bilingual in English and Spanish, with strong verbal and written communication skills.
  6. Experience working with and coordinating candidates through staffing agencies.
  7. Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
  8. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple requisitions, candidates, interviews, and deadlines simultaneously. Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate and confidential recruiting records.
  9. Experience conducting new hire orientation and onboarding activities, including presenting company information, reviewing required documentation, and guiding new employees through the onboarding process.
  10. Preferred: Experience working in an ISO-certified or ISO-regulated environment, with an understanding of documentation, process compliance, and recordkeeping requirements.

Work Environment Requirements

  1. Temporary, on-site position supporting recruiting and Human Resources activities.
  2. Comfortable working in both office and aerospace manufacturing/warehouse environments.
  3. May be required to move between office, production, and warehouse areas to support recruiting activities, interviews, hiring events, and other HR needs.
  4. May occasionally be exposed to noise, dust, and other conditions typical of a manufacturing environment.
  5. Must be able to adapt to changing priorities and business needs in a fast-paced work environment.

Physical Requirements

  1. Ability to sit or stand for extended periods of time.
  2. Ability to move throughout office, production, and warehouse areas for extended periods as required by job duties.
  3. Ability to perform repetitive computer and desk-related tasks for extended periods.
  4. Ability to reach, bend, and perform routine movements associated with the position.
