Job description

Position Summary
The Student Success Assistant supports student engagement and academic success at the Hays Campus. This position leads testing services while also assisting with student support services, events, and programs that enhance student experience and foster campus connection.
This role serves as an important point of contact for students by helping create a welcoming, supportive, and active campus environment while assisting in the organization and administration of testing services.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Testing services support
Assist in coordinating placement testing, make-up testing, accommodated testing, and other assigned assessments
Support testing security and ensure compliance with institutional policies and procedures
Schedule testing appointments and communicate testing information to students and faculty
Prepare testing materials and maintain organized testing records
Monitor testing environments to ensure fairness and academic integrity
Assist students with testing-related questions and procedures
Maintain confidentiality of student records and testing information
Assist with student success events throughout the year on the Hays campus and Beloit Campus
Assist with creative programming that supports student connection, retention, and overall student success
Support occasional evening and/or weekend activities as needed
Qualifications
Required
High School diploma required; Associate degree preferred;
Strong organizational and communication skills
Ability to multitask and manage multiple priorities effectively
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and standard office technology
Strong interpersonal skills with a student-centered approach
Preferred
Experience in higher education, student services, testing administration, or event coordination
Experience with student engagement programming or campus activities
Knowledge of student information systems and testing procedures
