Tempe, AZ - Business Operations - MCCCD - Rio Salado Community College - Student Services Technician (Local Candidates Only)

Short Job Description

Rio Salado Community College is seeking a Student Services Technician to support admissions and enrollment activities for dual enrollment students (high school students taking college courses). This hybrid role (3 days onsite, 2 days remote) works closely with the Student Engagement and Recruitment Team (SERT), site coordinators, and success coaches to assist students through the enrollment process using student information systems. The position requires regular travel to partnering high schools throughout the Valley during school hours.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support admissions, registration, and enrollment processes for dual enrollment students.
  • Utilize Student Information Systems to manage student records and enrollment activities.
  • Provide customer service and outreach support via phone, email, and text.
  • Assist with additional Early College program activities as assigned.

Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum 1 year of experience working in secondary or higher education.
  • Experience working directly with students.
  • Strong customer service skills and proficiency with technology.
  • Experience with Student Information Systems is preferred.
