Job description

Reports To: Manager Student Information Systems
Duty Days: 221 Days
Wage/Hour Status: Non-Exempt
Pay Grade: AS03
Qualifications:
High School Diploma required
Equivalent work experience preferred
K-12 educational support experience preferred
Experience with Student Information System software preferred
Experience with PEIMS, data entry, running reports
Primary Purpose:
Provide support for Katy ISD Registrars and ADAs who are absent from their campus. Assist in training new Registrars/ ADAs and provide on-going support to Registrars/ ADAs.
Major Duties and Responsibilities:
  1. Complete extensive training in data entry in the District's Student Information System.
  2. Attend all meetings of campus level attendance clerks and registrars.
  3. Provide coverage for campus ADAs and Registrar absences.
  4. Enter and edit student data within the KISD Student Systems.
  5. Assist Student Data Analysts in the support of student data.
  6. Perform enrollment card updates.
  7. Perform other Student Information Systems data entry tasks as required.
  8. Assist campuses and district departments with student data reports.
  9. Provide training and on-going support to ADA's and Registrars.
  10. Perform additional tasks and duties as directed.

Equipment Used:
Personal computer, printer, copier, telephone
Working Conditions:
Inter District travel required, must have reliable transportation. Maintain emotional control under stress. Work with frequent interruptions. Frequent district-wide travel; repetitive hand motions, and prolonged use of a computer.
