Immaculata - La Salle High School, a private Catholic school in Miami, Florida is looking to hire a qualified and/or experienced full-time Student Information Systems Coordinator. This person handles the overall management, integrity, and optimization of the school's student information system, PowerSchool Student Information System. This role will support administrators, faculty, staff, students, and families by ensuring accurate data management, effective system utilization, and alignment with the Archdiocese of Miami policies and educational standards. This candidate performs all duties and responsibilities in alignment with the mission, vision, and values of the Catholic Archdiocese of Miami.
Essential duties and responsibilities:
  • Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and compliance with Archdiocese of Miami and state reporting requirements.
  • Provide training and ongoing support to faculty and staff on PowerSchool usage, including gradebook, attendance, and reporting functions.
  • Troubleshoot system issues and coordinate with PowerSchool support when necessary.
  • Assist with federal, state and diocesan reporting, audits to ensure compliance.
  • Support integration with other educational platforms and technologies as needed.
  • Assist with report card, progress report and transcript generation.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in management information systems (MIS), computer science, information systems, or related field.
  • Technical or information systems certification a plus.
  • 2-3 years' experience in database management or technical support, with experience in a K-12 educational environment; PowerSchool or other student information systems experience preferred.
  • Effective oral and written English communication skills, including clear speaking voice.
  • Good spelling and grammar are required.
  • Proficiency in SQL, Excel, and student information software.
  • Supportive of the mission and tenets of the Roman Catholic Church; experience in a Roman Catholic environment preferred.
  • Knowledge of basic tenets of Catholic Church.
  • Must have a professional demeanor, including the dress code.
