Job description

Overview
RealPage is seeking a highly analytical and execution-oriented Principal, Product Operations & Strategic Execution to support our Data & Analytics business unit. This role will begin as a high-impact individual contributor, with a clear path to building and leading a Product Operations function over time.
You will operate at the center of Product, Data, Engineering, and Go-to-Market teams-driving operational rigor, leading strategic programs, and enabling data-driven product decisions at scale. This role focuses on enabling business cadence, governance, and execution-not owning product development lifecycle or tooling.
Responsibilities
Business Cadence & Governance
  • Own and run operational cadence for the Data & Analytics business unit (e.g., MBRs, QBRs, roadmap reviews)
  • Establish and manage roadmap governance and investment planning, including prioritization alignment and executive visibility
  • Drive consistency in planning, status reporting, and KPI tracking across product teams
  • Ensure clear communication of progress, risks, and outcomes to leadership

Strategic Programs
  • Lead execution of high-priority, cross-functional business unit initiatives (e.g., next-gen analytics and data solutions, TAM penetration initiatives, AI transformation programs)
  • Translate leadership priorities into structured programs with clear milestones, owners, and success metrics
  • Drive alignment and accountability across Product, Engineering, Data Science, and GTM stakeholders
  • Identify and remove execution bottlenecks across the organization

Change Management & Execution Enablement
  • Support organizational change initiatives tied to product, data, and go-to-market evolution
  • Develop communication plans and rollout strategies for major BU initiatives
  • Enable executive visibility into adoption of new processes, frameworks, and business priorities across teams

Data & Insights Enablement
  • Define and track key business and product metrics
  • Partner with Data/Analytics teams to support reporting and insights for decision-making
  • Enable leadership with clear, actionable insights tied to business performance

Cross-Functional Alignment
  • Act as a connective layer between Product, Engineering, Data Science, Field & Operational teams
  • Improve transparency and alignment on priorities, timelines, and outcomes
  • Support go-to-market readiness and coordination for major releases and initiatives

Leadership & Growth (Future Scope)
  • Build foundational processes and playbooks for Product Operations within the business unit
  • Activation thru influence across teams and stakeholders
  • Over time, hire and lead a small team to scale Product Operations capabilities

Qualifications
  • 8-12+ years of experience in Product Operations, Program Management, Product Management, or Analytics-focused roles
  • Strong experience in data-driven SaaS, analytics platforms, or business intelligence environments
  • Proven ability to lead complex, cross-functional programs from strategy through execution
  • Experience supporting executive-level business cadence (MBRs, QBRs, planning cycles)
  • Strong systems thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in Data & Analytics, BI, or platform-based SaaS products
  • Familiarity with modern data ecosystems (e.g., Snowflake, Databricks, Tableau, Looker)
  • Experience with AI/ML or data science-driven products
  • Experience in multifamily real estate, property management, or proptech
