Job description

Company Overview
The built world generates more data than almost any other industry. Almost none of it is being used. Rentana is changing that, building the AI copilot for real estate that distills billions of real-world signals into revenue intelligence, so operators can optimize every lever across their portfolio and actually talk to their data.
Our founding team has built four multi-billion dollar software companies and two proptech exits, including Dynasty (sold to AppFolio) and Urbandoor (sold to Airbnb). Our founding engineers include the first engineer at Airtable and the engineer who led the largest code migration in Stripe's history.
Customers love Rentana: we are the top-rated revenue management platform on Revyse, with NMHC Top 50 real estate owners and operators on the platform within 1 year of public launch.
Role
We're building something special at Rentana, and we need someone exceptional to help us scale it. This role sits in the Office of the CEO, which means you'll have direct visibility into the most important decisions in the business and a real hand in shaping how we grow.
The work is intentionally broad. Some weeks that means finding and closing exceptional candidates. Other weeks it means designing the process that didn't exist yet, building the financial model that clarifies a big decision, or writing the playbook that turns a one-time win into a repeatable system. If you're hyper-organized, fired up by high ownership, and get genuine satisfaction from bringing structure to a fast-moving company, this role was built for you.
This role will be in person in NYC with the Office of the CEO.
Key Responsibilities
  • Recruiting. You'll support managing hiring end-to-end: sourcing, pipeline management, candidate experience, and closing. We're building a world-class team and you'll be central to that.
  • Finance & Billing. Translate product data into billing in Quickbooks, manage ARR tracking, and support our financial model. You'll be the person who keeps the numbers clean and current.
  • Customer Success Ops. Use Hex, SQL, and internal dashboards to build polished, executive-ready presentations that tell the story of client ROI and performance. You'll also build the process that makes this repeatable at scale.
  • Business Operations. You'll spot where things are starting to strain before they break, then build the systems and processes that fix them. Documentation, playbooks, structure - you'll be the one who creates it.
  • Strategy. You'll work directly with the founding team on questions that don't have obvious answers yet: competitive positioning, market strategy, go-to-market sequencing. Real seat at the table.
  • Special Projects. If it matters to the business and no one owns it yet, it probably lands here. You're excited by that.

Nice to Have
  • 2-6 years of experience in consulting, finance, investing, ops, or a generalist role at a startup
  • Strong written and verbal communication, you can synthesize fast and write clearly
  • Financial modeling and Deck building skills
  • Demonstrated ability to operate independently and figure things out, passion for AI tools
  • Hyper organized and enjoy creating systems and process

What We Offer
  • The opportunity to be part of a pioneering team in a high-growth industry, shaping the future of AI in real estate.
  • Direct collaboration with the startup's top leadership, offering a unique insight into business management and strategic decision-making.
  • A competitive salary with equity options.
  • Comprehensive benefits package including health, dental, and vision insurance.
  • A dynamic, innovative, and supportive work environment.

Company Values
  • Fast and Transparent: Speed is a competitive advantage, but only when paired with transparency. We bias toward action, share information openly, and never let slowness become a default
  • Solve It: We don't hand problems back. We take ownership, figure it out, and deliver. Excellence is at the core of everything we do.
  • Customer Obsessed: Our customers are the reason we build what we build. We listen closely and let real problems drive our product.
  • Candid but kind: We say what we mean, directly and with care. Feedback is a gift. We have the hard conversations, because glossing over the truth doesn't serve anyone.
  • Win Together: We share credit, support each other, and leave the ego at the door. The best idea wins, regardless of who had it. When things go wrong, we fix it together -- no blame, just learning.

We are an equal opportunity employer and value diversity at our company. We do not discriminate on the basis of race, religion, color, national origin, gender, sexual orientation, age, marital status, veteran status, or disability status.
