We put powerful aerial imagery, AI-driven analytics, and geospatial tools into the hands of the people who plan, build, insure, and govern the places we all live and work. Our technology turns property uncertainty into decisive action, and our culture brings out the best in the people who build it.
We move fast, we care about craft, and we're proud of what we're building. If you're energized by turning hard problems into real-world impact, we'd love to meet you.
Role Location: Fully remote within the continental United States.
Job Description
Remote: Applicants residing in PST need only apply
About the Role
Product at Nearmap doesn't just build the product-it shapes how the product reaches the market and delivers value once it's there. In this role, you'll provide the analytical foundation that helps our Go-To-Market team make smarter commercial decisions. You'll work closely with Sales, Revenue Operations, and Product leadership to translate product and market data into clear commercial insight, helping us understand where Nearmap products win, where they don't, what customers actually value, and how that should inform the way we package and position what we build.
What You'll Do
Commercial Analysis & Strategy
  • Partner with the GTM team to evaluate the accuracy and effectiveness of current product bundles and go-to-market structures
  • Support the rollout of Nearmap's updated commercial models and product-based TAM/SAM/SOM analysis as a primary near-term analytical workstream
  • Identify gaps between list rates and realized value across segments, verticals, and geographies
  • Drive a regular cadence of commercial reviews with clear recommendations for adjustments
  • Refine analytical frameworks covering willingness to pay, value anchoring, and competitive benchmarking
  • Support the development and testing of new bundle and packaging concepts
  • Build living documentation of analytical logic to ensure methodology becomes institutional knowledge, not tribal

Revenue Reporting, Performance Tracking & ROI
  • Maintain granular revenue and profitability reporting by product, vertical, and customer segment, with real-time dashboards that give leadership visibility into commercial performance, discount trends, deal economics, and margin health
  • Quantify and communicate the ROI customers receive from Nearmap products, supporting Sales Performance Managers with ROI models and value calculators for customer conversations
  • Collaborate with Customer Success and Product to surface usage and value signals from the customer base, maintaining product-based churn and upsell analytics
  • Support deal desk and complex approval workflows with data-driven analysis

AI-Powered Analytics & Tooling
  • Build durable, repeatable analytics assets using AI-assisted development practices-documented, version-controlled, and designed to run without you in the room
  • Identify and implement opportunities to automate reporting, anomaly detection, and commercial signal generation across the product portfolio
  • Work closely with Revenue Operations to implement commercial changes in CPQ and downstream systems, ensuring analytics infrastructure stays aligned with CRM and billing data

Qualifications
What We're Looking For
Required
  • 2-4 years of experience in product analytics, business intelligence, or commercial strategy
  • Strong SQL proficiency and fluency in at least one BI platform (Looker, Tableau, Power BI, or similar)
  • Demonstrated, day-to-day use of AI tools (LLM-assisted analysis, code generation, automated reporting) with Salesforce, Gong, Looker, Snowflake, and familiarity with Claude/Claude Code
  • Ability to build analytics assets designed to last: documented, maintainable, and understood by others
  • Clear communicator who can translate data into recommendations for non-technical stakeholders
  • Comfort working in ambiguity and driving your own work to completion

Preferred
  • Experience with SaaS commercial models (seat-based, consumption, usage-tiered, or hybrid structures)
  • Background in value strategy or revenue analytics in a B2B context
  • Experience with Python or dbt for data transformation and pipeline work
  • Insurance, geospatial, or PropTech vertical experience
