About Gordian

Gordian is the leader in Building Intelligence solutions, providing unrivaled data, robust software, and expert services to optimize every stage of the building lifecycle. From early-stage facility planning and capital budgeting to construction procurement and project delivery, Gordian empowers public sector, higher education, healthcare, and enterprise leaders to make data-driven decisions and manage their physical assets effectively.

As a Fortive operating company (NYSE: FTV), Gordian combines a high-growth, innovation-led software culture with the discipline of the Fortive Business System (FBS)-a proven framework for continuous improvement, customer-centric growth, and operational excellence.

Position Summary

Gordian is seeking an exceptional, vision-driven, and commercially minded Senior Director of Product Management to lead one of our most strategic, high-growth product portfolios: Procurement.

Reporting directly to the Chief Product Officer (CPO), you will own the end-to-end product strategy, vision, execution, and lifecycle management across our industry-leading Construction Procurement platforms (including Job Order Contracting / ezIQC solutions and contractor workflow software).

In this high-impact executive role, you will lead a team of Product Managers & Product Owners, bridge the gap between capital planning and downstream construction procurement on the Gordian Cloud Platform, and drive sustainable SaaS and data-driven revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities 1. Portfolio Strategy & Product Vision
  • Own the multi-year vision, strategy, and strategic roadmap for Gordian's Procurement product line.
  • Identify key market trends, customer pain points, and regulatory changes in public procurement, higher education, healthcare, and state/local government.
  • Drive portfolio convergence-enabling seamless data and workflow integration between early-stage facility planning/FCAs, RSMeans cost data, and downstream procurement workflows on the Gordian Cloud Platform.
  • Balance modernizing legacy platforms with building innovative, scalable cloud capabilities and AI-enabled workflows.
2. Team Leadership & Talent Development
  • Lead, mentor, and scale a high-performing team of Product Managers and Product Owners across both product lines.
  • Define clear KPIs and outcome-oriented frameworks for product teams, fostering a culture of ownership, customer empathy, speed, and continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate closely with Engineering, UX/UI, Data Science, and Revenue Operations to build a world-class product operating model.
3. Product Execution & FBS (Fortive Business System)
  • Apply Fortive Business System (FBS) tools-including Voice of Customer (VOC), Breakthrough Planning, Kaizen events, and visual management-to accelerate product velocity and quality.
  • Translate market opportunities into actionable, prioritized backlogs and quantitative business cases (ROI, market size, customer acquisition cost, retention metrics).
  • Establish strict performance tracking across SaaS metrics, customer retention, feature adoption, and margin expansion.
4. Commercial & Cross-Functional Alignment
  • Partner closely with Executive Leadership, Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, and Operations to ensure product roadmaps align with go-to-market strategies and overall business targets.
  • Serve as an internal and external evangelist for Gordian's Procurement and Planning offerings, regularly engaging with major clients, cooperative purchasing partners (e.g., Sourcewell, GPOs), and key industry forums.
  • Support M&A evaluation and integration strategy for inorganic growth opportunities within the facility management and ConTech/PropTech space.
Key Product Lines Under Management
  1. Procurement Solutions: * Job Order Contracting (JOC) & ezIQC software platforms, automated contractor estimating tools, bid management, and compliance verification engines.
  2. Core Platform Synergy: * Unifying data and workflows powered by RSMeans Data across both portfolios within the Gordian Cloud Platform.
Required Qualifications
  • Experience: 12+ years of progressive product management experience in B2B enterprise software (SaaS), with at least 5+ years in a senior leadership role (Director/Sr. Director) managing other product managers.
  • Domain Knowledge: Deep domain background in one or more of the following areas:
    • Construction Tech / PropTech / Facilities Management
    • Capital Planning / Asset Lifecycle Management
    • Public Sector / Higher Education Procurement or GovTech software
  • Executive Presence & Strategic Acumen: Proven track record of defining product strategy at the portfolio level and defending strategic investments before executive committees and corporate leadership.

  • Commercial Mindset: Strong financial acumen with demonstrated experience managing P&L impacts, pricing strategy, SaaS packaging, and product margin expansion.
  • Education: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related technical field (MBA or Master's degree preferred).
Preferred Qualifications
