About the Role
We are seeking a Bakery-Oven Operator to join our Production team at our Swedesboro, NJ bakery. In this role, you will be responsible for baking product varieties according to established baking profiles while ensuring consistent product quality, food safety, and efficient production flow.
Shift & Schedule
  • Shift: 2nd
  • Hours: 2:00PM - 10:30PM
  • Weekend Availability: Required

Compensation
  • Hourly Rate: $21.00 - $22.25

Core Accountabilities (What You'll Be Doing)
  • Operate and support oven and proofing processes in accordance with established baking profiles
  • Monitor product quality throughout proofing and baking to ensure specifications are met
  • Align products entering and exiting the oven to maintain efficient production and cooling flow
  • Maintain sanitation standards in oven and proofer areas in compliance with GMPs
  • Perform accurate and timely production and quality data entry
  • Follow Aspire SOPs, food safety, food security, and Lockout/Tagout procedures
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment and report any risks or deviations

Minimum Qualifications (What You Bring to the Table)
  • Ability to work consistently at required production pace and quality standards
  • Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
  • Basic problem-solving and attention to detail skills
  • Ability to follow written procedures, equipment manuals, and Aspire SOPs
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to work in hot environments with moving mechanical equipment

Preferred Qualifications (Extra Ingredients for Success)
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Bilingual English and Spanish
  • Prior experience in a bakery, food manufacturing, or production environment
  • Familiarity with GMPs, food safety, and sanitation practices
