Baker – Salt Lake City, UT

Are you passionate about crafting high-quality pastries in a dynamic manufacturing environment? Bridor is hiring a Baker to join our new Industrial Baking Manufacturing Plant in Salt Lake City. This is your opportunity to contribute to the production of premium baked goods in a fast-paced, team-oriented setting.

Pay Rate: $23/hour to start

Schedule: Monday – Wednesday
Night Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM (Will train on the day shift approximately 4 to 6 weeks)


What We’re Looking For

We are seeking reliable, dedicated, and motivated Bakers who thrive in a manufacturing environment. You should be comfortable multitasking, working independently, and collaborating with a team committed to excellence.


Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct quality control checks on pastry products
  • Prepare baking samples and organize production processes
  • Follow and adapt detailed baking instructions
  • Participate in quality and organoleptic assessments
  • Collaborate with the Quality Control Manager to maintain product standards
  • Prepare baked goods for food shows
  • Maintain and update baking and proofing specifications
  • Train staff on industrial baking techniques
  • Set proofing and baking parameters for R&D samples

Skills & Experience Required
  • Minimum 2 years in baking or an industrial kitchen
  • Knowledge of pastry doughs and large-scale production
  • Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and stand/bend frequently
  • Strong organizational and prioritization skills
  • Positive attitude with strong communication and teamwork abilities
  • English/Spanish fluency preferred
  • Basic computer literacy
  • Flexibility to work assigned shift
  • Familiarity with food manufacturing regulations and safety standards
