Overview:


The Senior Sourcing Associate will determine final costing of product, evaluate and label garment quality and prioritize global deliveries.


Key Accountabilities:

  • Support Sourcing Manager and/or Director by answering daily emails, sending out sourcing inquiries and resolving issues ย ย ย 
  • Request, prioritize, and monitor accurate and timely upload of production packages ย ย ย 
  • Assist Sourcing Manger with decisions regarding final costing and cost modifications ย ย ย 
  • Gather supporting information regarding quality issues to provide the sourcing manager ย ย ย 
  • Work closely with the Demand Planning team to ensure that all buys are entered in the buy plan and updated accurately and timely ย ย ย 
  • Responsible for informing and updating the Demand Planning team and overseas offices on stock orders and special orders, placement and status (i.e. moving labels, reorders and daily inquiries)
  • Follow up and communicate with the sales team and overseas offices regarding status of ad samples ย ย ย 
  • Create price charts by brand for each seasonal buy and late adds as needed, validate all information with cross functional teamsย 
  • Create seasonal pricing recaps by brand ย ย ย 
  • Review weekly and prep monthly for approval status reviews ย ย ย 
  • Monitor D/F and D/A entry ย ย ย 
  • Special projects as assigned ย ย ย 

Requirements

ย Required Skills/Abilities/Education:

  • Bachelor's Degree in International Trade or Business, Fashion Merchandising or related fieldย 
  • 2+ years of experience as Sourcing Coordinator or Sourcing Associate
  • Ability to speak a foreign language a plusย 
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills with attention to detail
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (knowledge of AS400 a plus)
