Major Talent is partnered with a food ingredients business in the United States that offers a range of products to the Nutrition, Pharmaceutical and Food and Beverage industries. They are looking for a Sourcing Manager to join the business in an exciting expansion


The Sourcing Manager will be responsible for managing supplier relationships, sourcing raw materials and food ingredients, negotiating contracts, and ensuring continuity of supply across the organisation. The ideal candidate will bring strong experience within the food industry, particularly in ingredient sourcing or purchasing, along with a proactive and collaborative approach.



Responsibilities of a Sourcing Manager

  • Develop and execute sourcing strategies for food ingredients and raw materials
  • Identify, evaluate, and manage supplier relationships to ensure quality, cost competitiveness, and supply reliability
  • Negotiate pricing, contracts, and supply agreements with domestic and international suppliers
  • Monitor market trends, commodity pricing, and ingredient availability to mitigate risk and identify opportunities
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with operations, quality, R&D, and supply chain teams to support business objectives
  • Ensure suppliers meet company standards for food safety, quality, and regulatory compliance
  • Manage inventory and purchasing activities to support production and customer demand

Skills required to be a Sourcing Manager
