Job Description Global Sourcing Manager Location: Grand Rapids, MI - Hybrid/ (Up to 2 days/week remote) Position Overview A growing organization is seeking a Global Sourcing Manager to act as the primary point person for driving the effectiveness of our suppliers around the world. In this role, you will establish and grow relationships with suppliers within your assigned region to meet key corporate goals in quality, pricing, and on-time delivery. The ideal candidate possesses a deep understanding of global macro-economic shifts and leverages strong negotiation skills to drive supplier performance and support corporate objectives.

Key Responsibilities Set, communicate, and hold global suppliers accountable to clear expectations regarding quality, on-time delivery, invoice accuracy, and pricing. Review supplier performance within your assigned region and recommend strategic sourcing improvements. Partner closely with Product Development to establish and enforce quality standards before shipments depart.

Collaborate with Sales, Forecasting, and Marketing to understand and satisfy real-time demand. Work with Buyers to ensure purchasing activities align with established supplier agreements. Travel to evaluate and provide regular feedback to suppliers using vendor scorecards.

Maintain company goals for fill rates at 97% or above across all categories. Meet annual cost reduction targets and audit suppliers to resolve Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPAs) to reduce quality complaints. Interface between corporate assets and the supply base on New Product Development teams to bring new concepts to market.

Required Qualifications 5+ years of supply chain or global sourcing experience. Strong negotiation, problem-solving, and relationship-building skills. Expert knowledge of global macro-economics and a high level of business etiquette.

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other relevant software applications. Ability to travel both domestically and internationally up to 25%. Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business Management, or Engineering.
