Job Summary
  • Client is seeking a dynamic and accomplished professional to join our team as a Senior Strategic Sourcing Manager . Reporting directly to the Senior Manager of Strategic Sourcing, this role presents an exciting opportunity to lead and support Client's sourcing activities. As a key player in our organization, you will spearhead the development and implementation of strategic sourcing strategies across multiple categories, contributing significantly to the continued success and growth of our company.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Review historical spending and purchases to develop new category strategies
  • Identify process improvement opportunities in sourcing & supplier interactions
  • Build and execute negotiation strategies & develop award recommendations
  • Evaluate current suppliers & advise stakeholders on new and existing contracts
  • Own sourcing events end to end; develop, manage & document requirements process
  • Develop negotiation strategies and lead supplier negotiations
  • Draft contract language and work with business units to define requirements
  • Identify, analyze, & mitigate contractual risk
  • Provide support in vendor relationship management, escalation, & dispute resolution

Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college
  • 8-10 years of relevant management experience in the area of strategic sourcing, supplier relationship management, and business analysis

Skills:
  • Demonstrated results and value realization from sourcing activities
  • Procurement and/or Supply Chain related professional certification preferred
  • Results-oriented mentality with a focus on efficiency, accuracy, and quality
