Kerfkore is a growing manufacturer of innovative architectural building products, curved panel solutions, lightweight composite panels, and specialty material systems serving architects, designers, fabricators, manufacturers, and construction professionals throughout North America.
We are seeking a highly organized, motivated, and detail-oriented Product Development Coordinator to support our growing product innovation and development efforts. This position offers a unique opportunity to work directly with company leadership while gaining hands-on experience in product development, manufacturing, market research, project management, and product launches.
This role is ideal for an early-career professional who enjoys solving problems, managing projects, learning new technologies, and helping bring innovative products to market.
Position Summary
The Product Development Coordinator supports the planning, coordination, documentation, testing, and launch of new products and product improvements. Working closely with leadership and cross-functional teams, this individual will help manage development projects from concept through commercialization.
No direct product development experience is required. We are looking for someone curious, dependable, highly organized, and eager to learn.
Key Responsibilities
Product Development & Project Coordination
  • Track product development projects, schedules, milestones, and deliverables
  • Coordinate meetings, agendas, action items, and follow-up activities
  • Support product testing, evaluations, prototypes, and stage-gate reviews
  • Maintain project documentation, development records, and status reports
  • Assist with cross-functional communication between sales, operations, manufacturing, and leadership teams

Research & Innovation Support
  • Conduct market, competitor, and customer research
  • Monitor industry trends, emerging technologies, and new materials
  • Assist with product roadmap development and innovation pipeline tracking
  • Support continuous improvement and new product initiatives

Documentation & Product Launch Support
  • Maintain product specifications, technical documents, and development files
  • Assist in creating product sheets, presentations, training materials, and launch documentation
  • Support product launch planning and commercialization activities
  • Help maintain website product information and marketing content updates

Customer & Sales Support
  • Gather customer feedback and Voice of Customer (VOC) insights
  • Track market opportunities and customer needs
  • Support sales teams with product information and technical resources
  • Assist in evaluating new product opportunities and market applications

Qualifications
Education

Equivalent education, experience, internships, or demonstrated skills will also be considered.
Experience
  • 0-3 years of professional experience
  • Internship, project coordination, operations, or product-related experience

Work Environment
