Chambliss Center for Children is seeking a passionate and driven Development Coordinator to support fundraising events, donor engagement, grant development, community partnerships, and stewardship activities. This is an exciting opportunity for a development professional who enjoys both relationship building and event planning while helping create life-changing opportunities for children, youth, and families throughout our community.

About Chambliss Center for Children

For more than 150 years, Chambliss Center for Children has been helping children, youth, and families build brighter futures. Chambliss provides a wide range of services that strengthen families and create opportunities for young people to thrive, including:

Every day, Chambliss helps working families access reliable childcare, supports children in foster care, assists youth transitioning to independence, and creates stronger outcomes for the entire community. When you join Chambliss, your work directly supports programs that impact children and families across the Chattanooga region. Every donor relationship, grant award, sponsorship, and fundraising event helps expand opportunities for those who need them most.

Preferred Qualifications

Why Join Chambliss?

At Chambliss, fundraising is about more than raising dollars. It's about creating opportunities for children to learn, helping families remain stable, supporting youth as they transition to adulthood, and strengthening our community for generations to come.

As Development Coordinator, you'll help tell these stories, engage community partners, plan meaningful events, and connect donors with the lasting impact of their generosity. You'll join a mission-driven team that values collaboration, innovation, and community impact while offering opportunities to grow your career in nonprofit development and fundraising.
