About Us:
Join Krise Transportation, a leading player in Student Transportation, where our commitment to safety and excellence drives everything we do. We’re looking for an experienced Shop Supervisor to lead our team of diesel and preventative maintenance technicians at our NorthWestern Albion location.

What You’ll Do:
As the Shop Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the safety and efficiency of our fleet. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Leadership & Team Development: Inspire and lead a dedicated team of maintenance technicians, providing coaching, mentorship, and support to help them excel.
  • Scheduling & Oversight: Manage technicians' work schedules and ensure all maintenance and repair activities are completed efficiently and on time.
  • Inventory Management: Oversee parts and tire inventory control, ensuring we have everything needed for seamless operations.
  • Organization & Record Keeping: Maintain an organized shop environment and accurate records to support our operational excellence.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience leading a heavy-duty truck or bus maintenance and repair facility and crew
  • 2-year degree in diesel technology, automotive technology, or equivalent experience preferred
  • Basic computer skills (email, Excel, Word) and familiarity with fleet maintenance software
  • Class 7 PA State Inspection License preferred (we provide training and support to obtain your PA state inspection license if not currently certified)
  • Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with Passenger, School Bus, and Air Brake Endorsements preferred (we provide training and support to obtain your CDL if not currently licensed)

Please note that to operate a school van or bus, candidates must meet the following requirements:

  • Satisfactory driving history based on state motor vehicle records review
  • Satisfactory criminal history and child abuse history checks as required by law and the Pennsylvania Department of Education
  • Passing an initial and routine annual school bus driver physical with tuberculosis testing as required by the Pennsylvania Department of Education
  • Participation in and passing pre-employment and ongoing random drug and alcohol testing throughout employment
