Job description

We are seeking an experienced Supervisor / Foreman to join a growing company with several large commercial construction projects scheduled throughout Connecticut and New York primarily focused on apartment building developments. The Supervisor will oversee commercial construction projects and coordinate subcontracted crews from project start through completion. This role requires a hands-on leader who can manage daily operations, maintain schedules, ensure quality workmanship, and lead by example in the field.

Pay $35-38 an hour

Job Location- Stanford CT, Long Island, NY, Westchester NY, Greenburg NY

Responsibilities
  • Supervise and coordinate subcontractors and job site crews
  • Manage daily construction activities and project timelines
  • Ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and according to specifications
  • Communicate with project managers, vendors, inspectors, and subcontractors
  • Conduct site walkthroughs and monitor project progress
  • Troubleshoot job site issues and maintain productivity
  • Lead by example as a working Foreman / Supervisor
  • Maintain job site organization and enforce safety standards
Qualifications
  • Previous experience as a Foreman, Supervisor, or Lead in commercial construction
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Experience managing subcontractors and multiple crews
